Yes! We recommend an increased CerarMist Grow Guard treatment schedule for plants already infected with powdery mildew. The application specialist will know to spray the foliage thoroughly, being sure to coat the undersides of leaves too. It is recommended that Grow Guard be applied on day 1, 3, 5 in the first week, and then go to once per week application. If your plants have already been sprayed with a coating product (oils, waxes, etc), CerarMist Grow Guard will not be as effective (if at all!). CerarMist Grow Guard needs to be able to come in contact with the plant foliage surface.

Sadly, no. Using CerarMist Grow Guard on top of neem oil or other protective barrier products will not impact your plants in any way. The neem oil coating prevents CerarMist Grow Guard from coming in contact with the leaf surface, which is critical.

No! CerarMist Grow Guard keeps aphids, whiteflies and other small nuisance insects off your plants without killing them. If growing indoors, we recommend setting up physical traps (sticky or otherwise) to capture the homeless bugs. They will gravitate to untreated plants, so make sure you're treating them all!

No! CerarMist Grow Guard does not kill beneficial insects.

No! Weekly treatment using CerarMist Grow Guard does not affect the taste and allows for produce to qualify for the highest levels of organic certification.

No! CerarMist Grow Guard does not increase the plant's sensitivity to light, and it can be sprayed under any type of lighting without fear of burning.

Yes! Studies have shown CerarMist Grow Guard protected plants display an increased ability to process light energy, often resulting in plants looking "greener", thicker and overall more "robust"!

Lab tests conducted on fruits, vegetables, foliage, extracts, oils, etc that have been treated weekly with CerarMist Grow Guard did not approve any harmful chemicals, pesticides or contaminants. HOWEVER: CerarMist Grow Guard products will not negate the effects of other (potentially harmful) products applied. Always use 3rd party verified organic products in conjunction with CerarMist Grow Guard products to protect plant integrity. Use caution on any other chemicals (cleaning or otherwise) used around your plants, because they can show up in post-harvest testing too!

YES! Growers treat seeds prior to planting and start spraying once per week until the day of harvest!

For large scale operations, we recommend an electrostatic sprayer. However, for smaller growers and gardeners, we absolutely love our fine-mist mechanical sprayer. It delivers an extremely fine mist that is perfect for our product and plants.
